A newly established Chinese Language Centre was inaugurated at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET).
The varsity’s Department of Humanities has established the Chinese Language Centre to teach Chinese language to it engineering and social science students who aspire to get higher education in China. UE Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid said the knowledge of Chinese language was necessary for Pakistan to exploit Chinese market. The centre also offers opportunity to both teachers and employees of UET to learn Chinese language.
