Buzdar shares Pakistan Day greetings with MPs, foreign dignitaries

LAHORE : Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar attended the Pakistan Day parade at the Parade Ground in Islamabad. The chief minister shared Pakistan Day greetings with the ministers, parliamentarians and foreign dignitaries.

Later, the chief minister met a delegation of PTI workers at the Punjab House. He said peace was drastically needed for development and progress.

He the defence of Pakistan was unconquerable for the solidarity of the country. The nation is proud of the sacrifices and capabilities of the Pakistan Army, the CM said.

He said the parade of military contingents and the display of tanks and weapons left the audience awestruck. He said the parade on the Pakistan Day gave the message that the country had not ignored its defence.

The CM welcomed Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, special guests from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, China, Turkey and other friendly countries. He said Mahathir Mohamad was a great person who had put a country on path to development and economic independence through his leadership qualities.

He said, “We renew our resolve on Pakistan Day to work hard to make Pakistan a welfare state. Students should work tirelessly while the government officers and officials should perform duties with honesty to serve the people. We should work by making the philosophy of Quaid-e-Azam our guiding principle.

The CM greeted the workers on Pakistan Day.

notice: Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the matter of the body of a 20-year old girl which was found in the Nawan Lahore police area of Toba Tek Singh.

He sought a report from the Faisalabad RPO. He directed the police to hold a comprehensive investigation and submit a report to him in 48 hours. He directed the police to start legal action and arrest the accused immediately.
