LAHORE: Punjab Governor Muhammad Sarwar has said that Indian atrocities in Jammu and Kashmir couldn't silence the Kashmiri people.
India is become isolated instead of gaining support at the international level and its state terrorism in Kashmir would be unveiled, the Punjab governor said while talking to a delegation at Governor’s House on Sunday.
He said the freedom movement in Held Kashmir had become more organised and powerful. He said that defense of Pakistan was in strong hands and if India thought of committing aggression against Pakistan, it would be given a befitting response.
Regarding the anti-corruption initiatives of the PTI government, Muhammad Sarwar said the steps were taken to make Pakistan clean from corruption and Jihad of Imran Khan would succeed. “We will never make any deal on corruption. We have nothing to do with functioning of the NAB and we will never support political intervention in institutions,” he said.
He told the guests that the Prime Minister Insaf Health Card scheme would bring about a revolution in the field of health care in Pakistan. The prime minister is working to bring about a social revolution in the country, he said, adding the PTI government believed in the rule of law, supremacy of constitution and independence of institutions. Those who called on the Punjab governor included Zahid Saeed and Raja Mazhar.
