Marquee demolished

LAHORE: During the jointly carried out drive against illegal buildings by the Anti-Corruption Establishment and Lahore Development Authority, a marquee at Edgerton Road, in front of LDA Plaza, was demolished on Thursday. Officials said the marquee was constructed without approval.

relocation: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to shift the office of LDA Avenue-One from its Johar Town office to the recently constructed building at the Civic Centre of the housing scheme.

The new office will become operational from February 20 (Wednesday). LDA has informed that no application pertaining to Avenue-One scheme will be accepted at the One Windows Cell, Johar Town office, on 18th and 19th February. Later, all issues pertaining to LDA Avenue-One will be dealt with at the new office, situated at the location of Avenue-One housing scheme.

transferred: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Aman Imran Khan has transferred and posted six directors. Officials said Director Land Development-I Abdus Sattar Khan has been transferred and posted as director One-Window Cell while his predecessor Haroon Rasheed has been transferred and posted as director Hidden Properties.

Director Katchi Abadies Muhammad Nauman Khan has been transferred and posted as director Land Development-I. PMS officer Ashfaq Ahmed Khan, awaiting posting, has been posted as directed Land Development-III, relieving Muazzam Rashid from the additional charge of the post.

Director Land Acquisition Fahad Anees has been transferred and posted as director LDA City. PMS officer Shabbir Hussain Cheema, awaiting posting, has been posted as director Land Acquisition. He has also been given the additional charge of the post of revenue officer Record Sifting Cell.

Meanwhile, LDA Additional Director General (HQ) Rana Abdul Shukoor has ordered postings of five officers in the Directorate of Estate Management Avenue-I. Deputy Director Ali Bin Sohail, Deputy Director IT Usman Amjad, Assistant Director Arslan Amjad, Assistant Director Accounts Kashif Nadeem and computer officer Wasim Ashraf have been posted in the directorate with immediate effect.

Forensic Science Agency: The Punjab Forensic Science Agency has offered the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) the services for ensuring safety and security of record. The agency also extended an offer to the LDA to impart training to the relevant staff regarding the record room operations and practices.
