Director General Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) Major General Umar Farooq Burki, met the troops deployed at forward locations in Head Sulemanki Sector on Friday.
Earlier, the DG Rangers attended a comprehensive briefing by the Sector Commander Desert Rangers Brigadier Riaz-ul-Hassan. Later, talking to the troops at forward locations, he appreciated their professional skills and high morale.
He said the valiant jawans of Punjab Rangers were performing their duty in different parts of the country in maintenance of permanent peace along with other law enforcement agencies. Director General said that Rangers had a rich history of bravery and professionalism. He said that they, as custodians of sacred frontiers, were a symbol of national pride and their resilience and resolve against the odds was commendable. He appreciated their state of operational preparedness and high morale. The director general assured that Punjab Rangers would leave no stone unturned towards fulfillment of its sacred responsibility.
