Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has confirmed its candidates for local bodies’ elections in the cantonment area of Lahore.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday, District President PTI Abdul Aleem Khan said it was indeed a tough decision to be taken by the parliamentary board to choose the right candidate and maximum consultation was made before the announcement which would merit and other criteria. As per detail issued by the Lahore PTI Office in PP 156 Lahore Cantt Ward 1, Mohammad Ali Khan, Ward 2 Ch. Ikhlaq Husain, Ward 3 Rasheed Ahmed, Ward 4 Faisal Faryad, Ward 5 Syed Ihrat Husain, Ward 6 Mohammad Taimoor Akhtar and Lahore Cantt Ward 7 Ch. Mohammad Umar Akbar have been given party tickets while in Walton Cantt Ward 1 Mohammad Ihsan Mahmood Butt, Ward 2 Malik Tahir Mahmood, and Walton Cantt Ward 5 Ch. Mohammad Akbar Gujjar have been given party tickets.
Similarly in PP 155 in Walton Cantt Ward 3 Faisal Hakim Bhatti, Ward 4 Mohammad Aslam Jutt, Ward 7 Azmat Ullah Waraich, Ward 8 Irshad Mahmood Khan, and Ward 9 Sheikh Basharat Ali have been given party tickets.
In Lahore Cantt Ward 8 Ch. Dilshad Akbar and Ward 10 Ilyas Ali Bhatti have got party tickets in PP 155 of Cantt Town. All these candidates held a meeting with the District President Abdul Aleem Khan at the party office on Tuesday and thanked him for the trust shown by the party. They expressed determination to get victory on April 25 with thumping majority. Abdul Aleem Khan said that on party based local bodies elections’ would be clear defeat for the ruling party and youth and women would play their vital role from the PTI platform. It is mentionable that in parliamentary board of PTI, Shoaib Siddiquee, Awais Younas, Hafiz Farhat Abbass, and Dr. Zarqa Taimur made recommendations for party candidates who were finally given tickets.

office at Islamabad by Lahore Office.
