Three development schemes approved

LAHORE: Punjab government Friday approved three development schemes of different sectors at an estimated cost of Rs4.461 billion. The schemes were approved in the 65th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of fiscal year 2017-18 presided by P&D Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

The approved schemes included; up-gradation of Government General Hospital Samanabad, Faisalabad (Revised) at the cost of Rs780.798 million, establishment of citizen facilitation and service centers (E-Khidmat Markaz) (Revised) at the cost of Rs1,268.190 million and construction of road and high level bridge between district Mianwali and Jhang (Revised) at the cost of Rs2,412.245 million. Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of P&D board, provincial secretaries concerned, P&D Assistant Chief Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
