MNA fined for defying order

LAHORE
ELECTION Tribunal Tuesday imposed a fine of Rs5,000 on PML-N MNA Tariq Mahmood for not complying with the orders of the tribunal regarding representation in alleged matter of rigging in NA-98, Gujranwala. Imtiaz Safdar Warraich of PPP had filed the petition and challenged the victory of Tariq Mahmood as MNA from NA-98, in Gujranwala district. The tribunal issued notices to the respondent but he never complied with it neither personally nor through his counsel, on which the tribunal imposed a fine on him.
