LAHORE
An additional district and sessions judge Tuesday sought comments from Factory Area SHO in a petition filed by a man seeking registration of a case against his ex-wife for allegedly abducting his daughter and deceiving the court.
Petitioner Muhammad Ijaz contended in his petition that he had married Farwa in 2009 and they had a daughter, Maham. They got divorced in 2010. On December 29, 2014, accused Mubashir abducted his daughter on the behest of his ex-wife. He submitted that his wife filed a petition in a sessions court to protect Mubashir and obtained an order pretending Maham was the daughter of one Muhammad Rasheed Awan. He prayed the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against accused Farwa and Mubashir for abducing his daughter and deceiving the court.
