Autopsy: Cantt Investigation Police have yet to conduct an autopsy of three terrorists killed in an encounter in the Burki Police limits two months before.
Burki Police registered an FIR No 8/15 against the accused on January 10, 2015.
Sidique, Incharge Investigation Batapur Police, said there was no more network of terrorists related to these terrorists. He further said they were waiting for the family of the accused to contact them.
When asked about the efforts by police to contact the family, he said that news of the death of the accused was published on national media so the families should themselves contact them.
Three terrorists were reportedly killed by the CIA Police Cantt Division on the early night of March 10 on Burki Road in an encounter. Efforts were made to contact the SP Investigations Cantt but to no avail.
Minorities: Member German Parliament Christoph Strasser and Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan Dr. Cyrill Nunn along with a three-member delegation met Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs and Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sindhu on Tuesday. Matters of mutual interests were discussed in the meeting.
Khalil Tahir Sindhu briefed the German delegation on the Minorities Affairs and Human Rights Department Punjab. He also informed the delegation about the steps taken by the Punjab government for the welfare of minorities and permanent allocation of five percent quota in jobs. He said there were deep-rooted relations between Pakistan and Germany which were further strengthening with the passage of time.
German Member Parliament and Federal Government Commissioner for Human Rights Christoph Strasser and German Ambassador Dr. Cyrill Nunn lauded the cooperation between the two countries and expressed the hope that trade relations and bilateral ties would be further promoted. They appreciated the steps taken by the Punjab government for the welfare and betterment of minorities.
