LAHORE : Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab has issued show-cause notices to 289 woman lecturers for being absent from duty for long without any information/prior permission from the competent authority.
The show-cause notices have been issued under the Punjab Employees Efficiency, Discipline and Accountability (PEEDA) Act 2006. The lecturers have been directed to show cause in writing within seven days.
