‘Islamic military coalition to help end terrorism’

Islamic military coalition has been constituted with sole objective to eliminate terrorism, extremism and sectarian violence from Muslim world.Addressing an Iftar party here on Tuesday, Pakistan Ulema Council Chairman Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi said that Islamic military coalition has been constituted with sole objective to annihilate menace of terrorism and extremism from Muslim world.

The Iftar party was also attended by different religious scholars.

Ramazan is a month of Muslim unity and solidarity as it emphasises on teachings of patience and respect for humanity by ending all differences, said Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi. Muslim Ummah should raise voice for oppressed communities in accordance with the teachings of Islam.

Islam preaches to respect all the heavenly religions and amidst prevailing confronting challenges, representatives of all the heavenly religions should get united for interfaith harmony and dialogue, he said.

Pakistan Ulema Council vehemently condemned Manchester suicide blast and termed this terrorism attack against humanity, said Tahir Ashrafi.

To express solidarity with oppressed people of Palestine and association with Harmain Al-Sharifain, 23rd June (Friday) will be observed as ‘Protection Day for Harmain Al-Sharifain and ‘Masjid-e-Aqsa’.

Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi also stated that an international summit for elimination of terrorism and extremism will be held in Netherlands after Ramazan that will be attended by representatives of different religions and leadership of different countries of the world.
