Five cars slammed into each other on Canal Road, Muslim Town Underpass on Thursday.
Those involved in the accident claimed that the first car came to a complete stop suddenly that forced the drivers of other four cars to apply breaks at a high speed, but they could not stop their vehicles and hit those moving in front of them one after the other. On the scene, there were reports of minor injuries to the drivers.
FOUND DEAD: A 60-year-old man was found dead near Sabzimandi on Thursday. Some passersby spotted the body of a man near Sabzimandi and informed the police. Body, yet to be identified, was sent to morgue.
driving schools: The chief traffic officer (CTO), Lahore, on Thursday said the City Traffic Police had decided to establish four new driving schools in the City. He said this while distributing certificates among 23 male and 20 female students who completed driving course at Traffic Driving School Police Lines, Thokar Niaz Baig.
accidents: Total 811 road traffic accidents were reported in Provincial Monitoring Cell of the Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) in all 36 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours; in which seven lives were lost and 574 serious injured were shifted to different hospitals.
