Farmers’ confernce

Representatives of farmers from all four provinces will participate in the National Water and Agriculture Conference which is being held tomorrow (Sunday) in the provincial metropolis in an effort to highlight ‘threat of Indian water aggression.’ Explaining the programme of the meeting, Ayub Mayo said here on Friday that leaders of Kissan Board, Kissan Ittehad, Balochistan Zimeendar Action Committee, Sindh Abadgar Board, Sindh Kissan Alliance, Pakistan Kissan Council, Anjuman Zameendaran, Anjuman Kashtkaran and Water Movement would attend the event aimed at uniting the farmers bodies on one-point agenda of countering nefarious designs of India of blocking flow of water towards Pakistan. He added that farmers bodies would also present their case before the nation at other event which would be held in the federal capital on March 20.
