They checked different stalls of meat and appreciated shopkeepers on cleanliness arrangements. Shopkeepers were issued warning on improper arrangements of washing of utensils at tea stalls. In Gujranwala, stock was wasted and notices were issued to shopkeepers on non-presence of expiry dates and non-covering of edible items at various stalls in Model Sunday Bazaar. Rotten fruits were lifted from stalls of fruits and vegetables. Visiting Model Bazaars Jhang Road and Qaleen Shaheed Road Faisalabad, Punjab Food Authority teams immediately wasted substandard and poor quality fruits and vegetables.
