Partly cloudy weather was observed in the provincial capital here Tuesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said a fresh westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during the current week. They predicted that cloudy weather conditions are expected in upper parts of the country.
However, light rain (with light snowfall over the hills) is expected at isolated places of Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan while cold and dry weather elsewhere in the country, they added. Rainfall was recorded at Kalam (05mm), Chitral (04mm) and Dir (03mm).
Tuesday’s lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Kalat where mercury dropped down to -04°C while in Lahore it was 26°C and humidity was 39 percent.
