Punjab University Department of Economics organised Mushaira to pay tribute to Allama Iqbal in connection with Iqbal Day celebrations on Tuesday.
In charge, Department of Economics, Dr Hafiz Khalil Ahmad, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion. Students of the department presented various poems of Allama Iqbal in a beautiful way. Addressing the participants, Dr Hafiz Khalil Ahmad said today’s generation must follow the messages given by Allama Iqbal in his poetry.
Later, prizes were distributed among the winners of the competition.
