LAHORE
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Wednesday disconnected illegal gas connections to a private housing society on Raiwind Road.
A case has been registered against accused Rana Sultan and Rana Umer Faroque. According to SNGPL GM, Lahore, Qaisar Mehmood, the department was informed that the accused were running illegal connections of gas in a private housing society.
A team led by the GM and comprising Chief Engineer Imran Altaf and Deputy Chief Engineer Yousaf Zakir raided the scheme and found underground illegal network of gas connections. The accused managed to escape.
