To safeguard Pakistan, political solutions besides military action against Altaf Hussain is necessary, speakers said at a function on Sunday.

The army has played a pivotal role in overcoming terror of MQM leader Altaf Hussain which will be reflected in the next general elections when people would freely elect their true representatives, they said and condemned the statement of Altaf Hussain against Pakistan and demanded high treason case against him immediately, at Pakistan Visionary Forum in its 55th conference to discuss the Karachi situation on Sunday.

The speakers included former Federal Law Minister Senator S M Zafar, former Minister of State Qayyum Nizami, agriculture scientist Dr Muhammad Sadiq, former Auditor General of Punjab Jameel Bhatti, former IMF adviser Khalid Saleem, former Intelligence Bureau DG Maj (retd) Shabbir Ahmed, Comsats adviser Dr Hasibullah, Jameel Gishkori, Engr.
