Prince William reacts as Earl Spencer paints King Charles as 'heartless monster'

Prince William is reportedly "frustrated" because Earl Spencer’s new book about Princess Diana is affecting King Charles’reputation.

As per the royal expert, the Prince of Wales didn't want private family matters to become public. William is upset with his uncle for portraying the British monarch as a “heartless monster” in his new memoir.

The heir to the throne sees Uncle Earl'sdecision to publish the book as "beyond the pale."

"William may have had his difficulties with his father in recent months, but he’s still extremely protective of him and worried about his overall health," the insider told Heat World on Tuesday.

The confidant further shared, "He would privately concede that [King Charles] was no saint and that his mother was treated terribly at various points in the marriage and after. But to air these details so publicly and paint him as this heartless monster who celebrated Diana’s death is totally beyond the pale."

"From William’s perspective, he can scarcely believe that his uncle has gone there," a tipster added.

For those unaware, Earl recently released a tell-all memoir in which he claims that King Charles sounded "giddily elated" following his wife Princess Diana's death in 1997.
