Lil Wayne engaged to longtime girlfriend Madi Cannon: 'I'm marrying'

Lil Wayne is all set to walk down the aisle as he has found a forever partner.

The 44-year-old rapper announced his engagement to Madi Cannon in a video message posted on B.G.'s Instagram handle on Monday. The clip, shared on the Hot Boy member's IG account, appears to be a FaceTime call between the two.

In the video, Lil congratulatedB.G. on his engagement to Brooke Jones. He then turned the camera towards Madi, stating, "I'm marrying this one."

"This is Madison. This is my fiancee,” he added.

Madi also offered her congratulations to the B.G. in the video.

"Let us know what colour clothes we’re wearing. I’m the best man, you know? Love you, man," added Lil.

This delightful news emerged several months after the Lollipop singer had denied reports of his engagement.

“I would like to clear something up,” Lil said during a live stream. “No, I’m not engaged."

"I had a beautiful thing going on with an amazing person, but, obviously, due to the validity of the temperature of today’s crazy world and culture, I considered, I don’t want to be such a burden on such an amazing person," he added.
