Saoirse Ronan’s Bond villain dream turns awkward for her

Saoirse Ronan dropped hints about Jack Lowden screen team-up.

As the actress has said previously that she would love to consider the James Bond franchise specially as a villain.

But now speaking with People magazine, she jokes that the idea may backfire after her husband Jack Lowden’s name came among the actors considered for James Bond.

“I’ve eaten my words after saying that now,” the Lady Bird star told the outlet.

While last month the Oscar nominated actress mentioned to Empire Magazine that “I want to go dark,” she continued, “I said that I wanted to be a Bond villain and I’m dead serious.”

Adding, “I think it would be really interesting, having a young female villain.”

“Especially for girls and women, to see someone who can just take all that pent-up anger and direct it somewhere, there’s something interesting about that dramatically. So I would love to do more of that,” she further added at the time.

As of now, she opened up about her possible screen collaboration with husband, saying, “We met through work and we’ve produced stuff together, and we’re very much a part of one another’s work life as well as personal life.”

“So it just feels like when the right thing comes along, it would be the obvious choice for us to do it together,” the Irish actress further added.

It is pertinent to mention here that Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden tied the knot in July 2024 in Scotland.
