Who will oversee 'Daredevil: Born Again' season 3 after showrunner's exit?

Season three is probably the last one of Daredevil: Born Again, and at least that is what The Hollywood Reporter is reporting.

But as the season is in post-production, Dario Scardapane, the showrunner who reshaped the series, has left because Marvel did not renew his contract.

So, who is overseeing the show is unclear, according to THR.

Scardapane, however, was a key part of the Marvel show.

Previously, the studio brought in Matt Corman and Chris Ord to write the series, and the first season was planned to have 18 episodes.

The tone was decided to be less dark than Netflix's version and more episodic.

Then the 2023 Hollywood strikes hit production and brought it to a standstill.

That break gave Marvel time to think, and the studio ultimately decided to hit the reset button.

Corman and Ord were let go, and Scardapane was brought in.

Directors from Loki and Moon Knight also joined, while Marvel also revamped the previous structure.

The 18 episodes were divided into two seasons and Scardapane, as a showrunner, has been massively involved in the process.

Meanwhile, Marvel has not publicly announced that season three is the last of Daredevil: Born Again.
