King Charles in for ‘character assassination’ with ‘hostile claims’

King Charles is told to brace up for character assassination in new book.

His Majesty, who was married to Princess Diana before she passed away in a car accident in 1997, is dragged over alleged giddiness after losing his first wife.

In Charles Spencer‘s new book on younger sister Princess Diana, it is revealed that can Charles was rather happy when his ex-wife breed her last.

Speaking about the shocking claims by Earl Spencer, Royal expert Jennie Bond says: “I was pleased when Earl Spencer announced he was going to write a book about his sister. I was looking forward to reading an authoritative and affectionate portrait of the woman who was once the most famous in the world.”

She told Mirror: “And it probably is an affectionate portrait — we shall see when it is published — but from the extracts so far it is clearly also a character assassination of the King. It is brutally hostile and fantastically rude.”

“I have no reason to disbelief Earl Spencer’s account of his memories – he’s a historian, journalist and author of some repute. He’s also quite charming to meet in person,” she noted.
