King Charles warned as Meghan Markle, Harry accused of 'collusion' with Earl Spencer

A royal expert has issued a stark warning for King Charles and alleged that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are ‘colluding’ with Earl Spencer to weaken the monarch.

The warning has come from royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams after Princess Diana’s brother Earl Spencer claims about King Charles.

Earl Spencer remarks have raised questions over how much Meghan and Harry knew about his book before its publication.

Richard Fitzwilliams believes Harry and his wife Meghan will be "absolutely thrilled" that the claims have made headlines.

He also alleged that Meghan and Harry have been working with Earl Spencer to "weaken" King Charles.

"They will be absolutely thrilled by the fact that this has gone viral, that the Palace put out an angry statement denying that King Charles has said his ex-wife should be forgotten soon enough."

"Do I think he said it? One has to bear in mind that this was nearly 30 years ago. Individuals may or may not have said certain things that they look at in a different context now,” the expert said.

"But there's no question that Earl Spencer is going to get a huge amount of publicity. It's very damaging for the King."

Richard Fitzwilliams adds, "In my opinion there was collusion between them and Earl Spencer because they've been close for a long time.”

The expert further warned, "This is very damaging. I hope it doesn't impair long-term views of both the monarchy and the King."
