Duchess Sophie dances as King Charles faces fresh storm

Duchess Sophie concluded her Zimbabwe tour by joining trachoma survivors in a jubilant dance at Mukuno Rural Health Centre.

The wife of Prince Edward, the youngest brother of King Charles, jovially grooved to chants sung in the local language, which translated as: "We are happy because now we can see."

The moving celebration followed deeply personal testimonies from six individuals who had endured trachoma - a debilitating condition that, without intervention, causes the eyelashes to curl inward, producing relentless irritation that eventually destroys sight.

As Duchess Sophie visited Zimbabwe, her brother-in-law King Charles, has faced a fresh storm at home due to the claims made by Charles Spencer in his book about the late Princess Diana.

While Buckingham Palace has dismissed the claims in a rare statement, the younger brother of Diana said during an interview that he stands by his claims.

The controversial claims come just days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the United Kingdom with their two children.
