Meghan Markle dubbed responsible for privacy leaks in UK

Meghan Markle is reminded she herself is to blame for intense media scrutiny over her life in the UK.

The Duchess of Sussex, who turned to her Instagram this week to share a glimpse of her life in the UK with Prince Harry and their two children, has invited trouble for the Sussex family.

Expert Alicia Liberty writes for Express: “Meghan chose to lift the curtain herself. Suddenly we were being shown Lilibet on her bike, Archie running alongside her, Harry fishing with the children and the sort of picture-perfect countryside scenes that could have been lifted straight from a lifestyle campaign.”

She adds: “Nobody leaked those moments. Nobody chased the family down a country lane. The Duchess chose what to show, when to show it and how much of her children’s lives millions of people were allowed to see.”

“Yes, their faces were protected, but that does not erase the contradiction. The Sussexes had finally secured the privacy they wanted, only for Meghan to voluntarily turn part of that private life into content,” notes the expert.
