Diablo heading to Netflix in animated series

For Blizzard Entertainment, Diablo is one of its hit video game franchises, and now they are bringing it to Netflix.

According to Variety, an animated TV show is in development at the streaming platform.

Though, there is still no cast announced nor release date, and no information on how many episodes it will have.

But Blizzard has described the project, which reads, “After decades of bringing entire universes to life through our games, we’re partnering with some creative powerhouses to tell even more stories beyond gaming across new screens."

"A new animated series set in the world of ‘Diablo’ is in development with Netflix. More details will be shared in the future, but this is only the beginning, with even more taking shape across our universes.”
