Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved back to the UK last week
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have moved back to the UK with their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Initial reports say that the Sussexes have chosen the Cotswolds as their new base during their "extended stay" in Britain.
According to a property expert, if the royal couple intends to purchase property in this area, this could be the best time to do so, as home prices have dropped compared to last year.
"Overall, the historical sold prices in Cotswolds over the last year were 2% down on the previous year and 2% down on the 2023 peak of £457,314," Rightmove, a real state company, claimed.
Recently, a property dealer informed the Express that Harry and Meghan are renting a home in the Cotswolds rather than purchasing one.
According to the founder of Property Buyers Today, it allows the couple to experience life in the UK without committing to a long-term arrangement.
“Given the amount of travelling Harry and Meghan do and the possibility that their plans could change, I think renting is a much more realistic option than immediately purchasing a multi-million-pound property,"Saif Derzi told the outlet.
“A high-end rental would give them the privacy and security they need, while allowing them to test out an area without making a long-term commitment," he added.
