Meghan Markle would like it if she and Kate Middleton could be on better terms, but not if it means "she has to beg"
Meghan Markle has apparently sent a strong message to Kate Middleton regarding reconciliation following her return to Britain with Prince Harry and kids Archie and Lilibet.
The National Examiner, citing the royal insiders, has reported that the Duchess remains open to seeing whether she and Kate can move forward, however, she reportedly does not intend to force a reconciliation.
The close confidant said, "Ideally, she would like it if they could be on better terms, but not if it means she has to beg.
"Meghan isn't going to grovel to anybody, least of all Kate."
The insiders have claimed that Meghan still feels that the Princess of Wales could have handled some situations differently when they were working royals.
"It's no secret Meghan believes Kate was culpable when it came to some of the rumors about her too," the source said. "If not directly, she certainly didn't stick up for her."
Now, the sources have claimed that Meghan believes Kate should also take steps toward repairing that trust.
"If anything, she feels like Kate ought to be the one making the effort to earn her trust back," the source said.
Although, Meghan taking a cautious approach to her relationship with Kate Middleton as she and Harry settle back into life in the UK, their move gives Archie and Lilibet more chances to spend time with their royal relatives including cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
