Sarah Ferguson is planning to move back to Britain

Meghan Markle and Sarah Ferguson have made a surprise contact in Portugal recently days before the former Duchess of York skipped to South Africa.

This has been claimed by royal expert Andrew Lownie days after reports of Meghan and Harry’s trip to Portugal.

Sarah Ferguson secretly also met his daughter Princess Eugenie.

Lownie said Meghan and Harry have also been visitors at the Portuguese estate, potentially creating a connection between the two families.

The expert suggested Harry and Meghan may have informed Eugenie about their plans to move back to Britain and intentions to enroll their children Archie and Lilibet at private schools in the Cotswolds, though he believes there is another scenario.

"More likely, I feel, is that Meghan revealed the plan to Ferguson herself," Lownie wrote.

The Daily Express reported the royal expert proposed that Meghan may have felt she had "two sound reasons" for disclosing the information, highlighting the women's shared experiences of clashing with the Palace.

"Very few people on the planet have personal experience of what that's like, and both will benefit by sharing their notes," he wrote.

The royal expert continued that Meghan has long regarded Sarah as an example of someone who succeeded in staying linked to royal life while establishing a commercial career.

Earlier, royal expert Rob Shuter claimed that former Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson has been hiding out in Cape Town, South Africa amid her plans to return to Britain.

Rob claimed this in his latest piece for Naughty But Nice substack.

Meanwhile, there are also claims Sarah is planning to move back to Britain and follow the footsteps of Meghan and Harry.
