Olivia Rodrigo finds 'greatest joy' in career after successful Daisy Chain festival

Olivia Rodrigo is over the moon after her Daisy Chain Fields festival raised hefty funds to support the charities advocating and advancing for women and girls.

The Deja Vu singer took to her Instagram account to share a reflection on the Saturday festival attended by stars like Chappell Roan, Rachel Chinouriri, Doechii, and many more.

As the inaugural event proved to be a success after raising $20 million, Olivia called it one of the highlights of her career.

She wrote, "Seeing daisy chain come to fruition yesterday was the greatest joy of my career."

Olivia said she saw "friendship bracelets being made on the grass" and "young girls on their dads shoulders" at the event, adding, "I am still in a bit of disbelief that it happened and I still feel incapable of properly expressing the gratitude that I feel for every person who believed in this vision and fought so hard to make it a reality."

The 23-year-old singer-songwriter then went on to recall the wishes people left at "yoko onos 'wish tree'" which was installed at the entrance of the festival, "We read so many of them. some were silly like I hope my dog lives forever or I hope my hair grows longer etc. but by and large almost every tag said the same thing. everyone hoped for the world to be more peaceful."

And this is why, Olivia emphasized, Daisy Chain is close to her heart.

Referring to the tree, the songstress further added, "The artwork reminded me of how we are all much more alike than we are different. and how deep down, we all just want to help each other and make the world a better place. yesterday, daisy chain felt like just that."

"A collective hope that things can get better and a reminder of how much we really care about people at the end of the day," Olivia noted, concluding, "Thank you to everyone who came yesterday who showed me that joy is a part of the solution. until next yearrrrr."
