Why did Meghan Markle even agree to return to the UK? Source exposes Duchess

From the day the news hit mainstream media, the world ahs been wondering why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ever came to a joint decision to move. Reason being Meghan’s dislike of the UK has been a well-known fact, albeit not said outright.

From bullying and racism allegations to other anti-royal rhetoric, from 2019 to 2024 the Sussex agenda was to wear their hearts on their sleeves.

Now, according to Closer Online, the reason was because of King Charles, but not because of his cancer.

A source explains it by saying, “For Meghan, going with Harry became the better option.”

“She felt she would have far more control over the situation if they did this together, rather than Harry flying back and forth alone and potentially rebuilding those relationships with his family without her.”

However, near the end they also admitted that much of her worries are not yet satisfied because Meghan’s fear is that “she’ll come back and somehow end up in the same situation she was in before” but Harry “has promised her that this time is completely different. They aren’t working royals. They intend to control their own lives and their own narrative.”

Plus, “Meghan recognises the potential opportunity presented by being physically closer to the royals.” In their concluding words the insider said, “they’ve had successes in America, but there have probably been more disappointments than they would have liked. They need to recentre their brand and rebuild some of those royal connections.”
