Prince Harry finally gets another chance with King Charles

Prince Harry got a chance to mend his relationship with King Charles.

On July 10, 2026, the Duke of Sussex, along with his family, visited his long-separated father, King Charles, at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, England. Moreover, Charles’ wife, Queen Camilla, was also present at the meeting.

As the Wellchild Awards are on the horizon in September, the Prince has been reportedly offered a stay at Buckingham Palace for his UK trip next month, according to Radar Online.

Reflecting on the matter, a source told the outlet, “It's a big deal for Harry."

The source further claimed that the Sussex royal may consider this golden opportunity as a way to re-establish his relationship with the King, saying, "There's a real 'now or never' sentiment.”

Adding, "Harry may never get a better window of opportunity."

Previously, in May 2025, the relationship between Harry and the King was at its lowest point when Harry told the BBC that he was no longer in contact with his father. "The relationship between Harry and Charles was at rock bottom," a source revealed.

Now, the source added, "Harry being welcomed in a formal capacity is a significant step.” Noting, "He's desperate to see Charles as much as he possibly can, and is very pleased he's being welcomed back."

Furthermore, an insider claimed that the royals are rearranging some of their internal roles and the Duke of Sussex would like to serve the royal family in some capacity.

"The royals are in the process of fine-tuning certain roles within The Firm," the insider said. "Harry is well aware of that, and he's making moves accordingly."

"Harry would love to find a compromise where he can work for the royal family in some capacity, but it's obviously a highly sensitive topic," they further added.

It is pertinent to mention that these speculations have not been confirmed by the royals themselves.
