The King's Trust: Working for young people for 50 years since its inception in 1976
King Charles is celebrating the 50 years of The King's Trust and 40 plus years of music, and the palace has released iconic photos.
The King’s Trust, in a joint post with palace, shared stunning never-before-seen photos of King Charles with the musicians and others, saying “40+ years of music. 50 years of supporting young people.”
It further said for decades, some of the world's biggest artists have helped raise vital funds, champion young people and support our work through unforgettable performances, workshops and events.
“Music is woven into our history. It has helped raise millions, amplify young voices and create opportunities that have changed lives,” the post further said.
The statement adds, “As we celebrate 50 years of The King's Trust, we're looking back at some of these incredible moments and the artists who helped make them possible.
“Because music isn't just part of our heritage. It's part of our future, too.”
The King's Trust is a British-based charity founded in 1976 by the then Prince Charles, now a King, to help vulnerable young people.
It supports 11-to-30-year-olds facing difficulties with school, the law, unemployment, disability, homelessness, and more.
The King's Trust is working for young people for 50 years and since its inception in 1976, the charity has helped more than 1.3 million young people build brighter futures.
