Liverpool surrendered a two-goal lead as Monaco fought back to secure a 3-2 victory in Sunday's pre-season friendly at Anfield.
Alexander Isak opened the scoring after combining with Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai before firing a low finish past Monaco goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky.
Florian Wirtz doubled Liverpool's advantage before the half-hour mark, reacting quickest during a goalmouth scramble to score from close range.
However, Monaco pulled one back shortly before half-time after Virgil van Dijk fouled Aleksandr Golovin inside the penalty area. Golovin converted the resulting spot-kick.
Monaco completed their comeback in the 88th minute when Paris Brunner headed home from a corner to give the visitors victory.
Alisson Becker, Cody Gakpo and Van Dijk made their first appearances of Liverpool's pre-season campaign, while Victor Munoz made his non-competitive debut from the bench. Wataru Endo also returned from injury.
