Meghan Markle chose to stick to her policy of not interacting with Instagram accounts belonging to members of the British royal family when the announcement regarding the arrival of Princess Eugenie’s daughter was made.

The announcement was made by the Royal Family’s Instagram account before Princess Eugenie shared it on her personal account.

More than half a million people liked the Royal Family’s post featuring a picture of the newborn daughter of Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, and thousands of others liked the post shared by the mother herself.

Princess Eugenie’s brother-in-law Edo Mapelli Mozzi was prominent among those who commented on her post, while Kate Middleton’s brother, James Middleton, was also among those who liked it.

However, Meghan Markle has not engaged with Eugenie’s post announcing the arrival of her third child.

The Duchess of Sussex, the wife of Eugenie’s cousin Prince Harry, is known for liking posts shared by Kris Jenner and other celebrities in the past.

It’s not known whether she privately congratulated Eugenie on the birth of her child.

Princess Eugenie, the daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, was the first member of the British royal family to meet Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after the couple settled in California.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the UK after stepping down as working members of the royal family in 2020.

Eugenie had met them when sentiment against the US-based couple was running high following their bombshell interview with US TV host Oprah Winfrey.
