The Princess Royal's daughter will be travelling to Germany this month
Zara Tindall will visit Germany to attend the opening ceremony of the FEI World Equestrian Championships at Allianz Park in Aachen, on August 11.
The daughter of Princess Anne will play a prominent role in proceedings at equestrian sport's flagship global competition.
According to GB News, her attendance marks a return to the German city where she claimed individual eventing gold two decades ago, riding Toytown at the 2006 World Equestrian Games.
Tindall will be among a gathering of European royals at the ceremony, alongside Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands and Infanta Elena of Spain, with historic carriages from three royal stables set to feature in the evening's programme.
Princess Catharina-Amalia, heir to the Dutch throne, will formally signal the start of the championships.
