Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will bring Archie and Lilibet on a rare visit to Britain next month
A royal expert has reflected on Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s potential meeting after it has been claimed the Duchess will be joining Prince Harry with their kids to UK.
Royal expert Rob Shuter, citing the insiders, has said it is still unclear whether Meghan and Princess Kate will meet during the visit.
The close confidant says no plans have been finalized and both women are “focused primarily on their families rather than repairing old wounds”.
“Nobody is putting pressure on Catherine or Meghan,” the insider tells the expert and adds, “If they see each other, great. If they don’t, that’s okay too.”
The royal expert made these remarks after the Daily Telegraph reported Prince Harry, the younger son of King Charles, will bring his two children Archie and Lilibet on a rare visit to Britain next month.
Harry, who moved to the United States with his wife Meghan in 2020, has not brought his children, Archie and Lilibet back to Britain in recent years, but the family will come over next month for an event to promote his Invictus Games.
"Harry says he’s coming back before the end of the year with the children with the express intent to reunite with his dad," the unnamed source claimed to the Telegraph.
"He has wanted to have his kids meet their grandfather, especially after their summit in London last year. While there have been deep-seated trust issues around Harry, there is a sense now that all parties want peace."
