Prince William 'worried' about King Charles after Earl Spencer claims

Prince William is reportedly ‘worried’ about his father King Charles after claims his uncle Princess Diana’s brother Earl Spencer made in his bombshell memoir.

The Closer, citing the royal sources, has reported ‘William is a man on the edge right now, you can practically see the stress vibrating off of him, it’s terrible.

“He’s worried about his father; he’s worried about the future of the monarchy; he’s worried about what his brother is going to do next."

The Prince of Wales believes very strongly in keeping a tight lid on family matters, the source said and adds “so having his uncle dragging his father through the mud like this is his worst nightmare.”

“Not to mention, it’s putting the monarchy in a terrible light at a time when the King is still sick, and the whole institution is already under enormous pressure.”

Moreover, the insiders said, “There’s also the Diana aspect. It’s quite harrowing for William to have all this horrible stuff about his mother in the headlines again.”

The future king has spent years trying to put the ‘painful memories’ to the side, the spy said and adds “he doesn’t like going over old ground, much less having it aired publicly, and seeing Harry on team Spencer just makes it worse.”

Earlier, King Charles took the unusual step of responding to criticism by Spencer, saying via a spokesperson that grief could impact reason, judgment and memory.
