Princesses Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are currently battling their own emotions over Prince William and Kate Middleton’s rumored bid to separate themselves from the ex-York sisters who are constantly getting caught in the tidal waves meant for their parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson.
While its pertinent to mention that none of the ex-Yorks have been accused of illegal behavior, their association to a known and convicted sex offender, all while lying about it, has the public up in a blaze.
It’s caused Andrew particularly to lose everything from his military honors, to titles and even his dukedom and his title of ‘prince’ which is hereditary and only the King or act of Parliament can remove.
This is why the sisters who believe they have done nothing wrong are having such a tough go of it. So much so that one of the sisters Princess Eugenie was forced to step down from her position at an anti-slavery charity, she’s been associated with for almost a decade.
Since they find themselves innocent in all this, a pal has come forward to The Mail in their effort to offer insight into the sisters’ emotions.
According to the pal, they “don't see why they should slope away like criminals when they've done nothing wrong.”
For those unversed, while one of the sisters have been mentioned in the files, by their own mom no less, the pal admits the two “have a great sense of public duty” still, despite their current predicament.
“They were always happy to carry out engagements when asked by their grandmother [Queen Elizabeth II] or by other members of the family,” the pal admits. Hence, “they don't see why they should slope away like criminals when they've done nothing wrong.”
