Princess Anne visitedUniversity College London (UCL) to take part in the UCL200 celebrations, according to a statement.
The university and royal family released a video of the Princess Royal's visit to UCL.
"We were honoured to welcome HRH The Princess Royal to campus as part of our UCL200 celebrations," said the UCL in a statement posed on social media.
It said, "From seeing our newly remodelled Quad and commemorative stone to meeting the teams behind UCL200, this visit was a true milestone moment."
The statement added, "HRH also met our amazing UCL student and staff communities. From a sneak‑peek of ‘UCL! The Musical’, to exploring the Two Centuries Here exhibition, and meeting the inspiring Faces of UCL who’ve shaped 200 years of impact. A unforgettable moment in our bicentennial year."
Founded in 1826, UCL is the second-largest university in the United Kingdom by total enrolment and the largest by postgraduate enrolment.
