With his romance to Italian supermodel Vittoria Ceretti in the spotlight it seems the actor may not be able to make things official, and its causing some serious questions to emerge, at least from Vittoria’s side.
While some wonder when he’ll actually propose, a source close to Closer magazine explains there may be one issue that they are yet to face and its becoming more and more apparant because Leo "certainly dangles that carrot".
In their eyes "there are times that it really feels like he’s close to taking that step, but then he does things like this, taking his mom as his date instead of her, and it becomes pretty clear he’s still not ready to make her his priority.”
For those unversed, instead of his girlfriend, his mom was the one that ended up accompanying him at Golden Globes this year and her friends are seemingly not having it because they are wondering if he’s somehow making it clear he isn’t ready to make her his priority.
Not to mention “this has really forced her to take a hard look at what she’s signed up for.” Because while “she went into this knowing Leo was close to his mom, but there’s a difference between being close and always coming second, especially at this stage of life.”
Also “her friends are all telling her it’s another red flag that she shouldn’t ignore. He’s a true mama’s boy, if she stays with him, she will always be second fiddle. Vittoria's friends don’t think it’s right, and they’re begging her to stop waiting around for him to fully choose her.’
Before concluding the source did make one thing clear and its that, the issues are not coming from Irmelin’s side because “actually likes Vittoria, and it’s not that she’s pushing her out, she’s actually been very supportive. It’s just the way Leo has always operated. He wants his mom there by his side for every major moment, even more so, now that she’s getting so much older.”
Still, in his quest to celebrate with his mother there is a chance this relationship might slip through his fingers its being said.
