The royal family of Denmark on Friday made an announced regarding the future plans of Crown Prince Christian

According to a statement issued by the royal house, after the completion his lieutenant training in June 2026, the Crown Prince will serve with the Royal Life Guards.

The statement said that Crown Prince’s service with the Royal Life Guards will be as a platoon commander for conscripted soldiers of the August 2026 intake at the Guards’ Barracks in Høvelte.

Crown Prince Christian, who turned 20 on October 15, 2025, is the son of King Frederik X and Queen Mary.
