Punjab Finance Department has approved special allowance for the lower cadre employees posted at Chief Minister's Secretariat. Sources said the department had issued the notification regarding the special allowance for the employees. They said the employees would be given 50 percent of their basic pay as the special allowance from August 2016. —Correspondent
