Outspoken journalist Piers Morgan has reacted to the desperate plea of Thomas Markle to her daughter Meghan Markle.
The Daily Mail reported Thomas Markle has sent a heartfelt message to his daughter, pleading: "I don't want to die estranged."
Speaking to the outlet, he appealed to his daughter to see him 'one more time before I die' as he lay in his hospital bed following the amputation of his left leg below the knee.
Thomas Markle said, "I've always said I am open to reconciling with my daughter. I have never stopped loving her. I don't want to die estranged from Meghan. I want to meet my grandkids. It might be nice to meet her husband too."
He further said, "Of course I want to speak to her but I am not sure if these are the right circumstances.”
Meghan and her father have not spoken since her wedding to Harry in 2018.
The People quoted Meghan’s spokesperson as saying after Thomas Markle’s surgery: “I can confirm she has reached out to her father."
However, Thomas Markle said Meghan has not called him after 'life or death' leg amputation.
The Daily Mail shared the story on its official X, formerly Twitter handle, saying “See me one more time before I die': Thomas Markle issues desperate plea to Meghan from hospital bed - and says Duchess HASN'T called him after 'life or death' leg amputation”
Piers Morgan commented on it and said “Who did Princess Pinocchio ‘reach out to’ ? Let’s have a name.”
