Queen Letizia of Spain was spotted today visiting the Cancer Research Centre at the Miguel de Unamuno campus, marking World Cancer Research Day with her presence.
The monarch sported a grey belted blazer as she greeted staff, exchanged handshakes, and delivered a speech highlighting the importance of ongoing cancer research.
She later took centre stage at the World Cancer Research Day (WCRD) event, hosted at the Miguel de Unamuno Campus on September 24.
As Honorary President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer and its Scientific Foundation, Queen Letizia used the occasion to highlight the critical role of research in combating cancer, applauding the dedication of scientists and the next generation of medical professionals.
Previously, she was seen at the Miguel de Unamuno Campus in Salamanca, Castilla y León, ahead of the international World Cancer Research Day event.
