Queen Camilla seemingly found her escape away from Palace as they made preparation for a special event dedicated to Princess Anne.
The Princess Royal, who will be marking her 75th birthday next week, will be holding a royal engagement at the Buckingham Palace with charities she supports to put the focus on her work rather than herself.
Meanwhile, Camilla, who seems have some residual tensions with King Charles’s sister, enjoyed a holiday around Greece on a £30million superyacht owned by a billionaire Tory donor.
In images obtained by the press, the Queen Consort was seen on Syrian-Saudi Wafic Said’s boat Zenobia as she was headed to a tourist hotspot of a Mediterranean country.
Charles, who is getting regular cancer treatment, did not accompany his wife to the luxury getaway. According to The Mirror report, it is understood that Camilla was extended the invitation which she merely accepted.
However, the timing of the invite had been quite apt, since Camilla would want to stay out of Anne’s hair. Anne, who is stickler for royal protocol, has bowed to Camilla on several occasions honouring the rules set in the monarchy.
Despite that, many insiders report that Anne does not like Camilla and has often given her a recap of royal protocol when Camilla tried to make changes on her own.
Anne also seemed to have criticised her brother, King Charles, for making lenient changes to favour his wife and risking the monarchy’s future for it.
