Princess Anne receives special title as King Charles celebrates his sister

Princess Anne is set to mark a huge milestone: her 75th birthday. Before that, the hardest-working royal received a special title and was showered with praises for her dedication towards meaningful causes.

On August 15, the Princess Royal will enter a new chapter of life, but unlike throwing grand parties, she has decided to spend time with the charities she has been associated with.

The charity bosses lauded the senior royal's efforts to improve the country and society through her work with various foundations.

According to the Mirror, Save the Children UK chief executive Moazzam Malik called King Charles' sister a "self-effacing" Princess for her "soft support" towards their organisation, collaborators and partners.

He said that Princess Anne is "very low key. She's self-effacing. She doesn't want to kind of take the limelight, but she's very committed... You can see that she cares about the state of Britain and the state of the world."

It is important to note that these comments came as the monarch honoured her sister with back-to-back heartfelt tributes.

A few days ago, a coin was released with Anne's picture and a note, "The Princess Royal – Celebrating 75 Years – Duty and Devotion."

On August 8, Buckingham Palace also unveiled an official birthday portrait of Princess Annewith her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, in order to celebrate the key member of the royal family.
