King Charles reveals spine tingling family secret

King Charles confessed Dracula connection in his most 'incredible conversation' with actor Luke Evans.

The Beauty and the Beast star recounted his sweet interaction with the then-Prince Charles in his newly released memoirs, recalling a moment from 2014 at a charity event.

The meeting took place at London's Savoy Hotel, where Evans had been invited after being named an ambassador for The King's Trust-formerly The Prince's Trust-a charitable organisation founded by Charles in 1976 to support disadvantaged youth in the UK, reported GB News.

During their introduction, Charles greeted Evans with what the actor described as 'a good, strong handshake' and asked about his current work.

At the time, Evans had just wrapped filming Dracula Untold, in which he played Vlad Tepes III- better known as Vlad the Impaler or Vlad Dracula-the historical figure who inspired Bram Stoker's iconic vampire character.

Upon hearing this, Charles' eyes 'lit up, 'Evans wrote, before the royal shared a fascinating personal revelation: 'I'll tell you an interesting story. I'll tell you an interesting story. I'm actually related to Vlad Tepes,' the King told the actor.

Evans was stunned as Charles went on to describe his full ancestral lineage, which, he said, traces back to the 1400s. The King also mentioned owning several properties in Romania, including in Transylvania, the region once ruled by Vlad himself.

Evan expressed his awe at the unexpected royal connection, calling it 'the most incredible story,' to which Charles smiled and replied,' Yes, and not a lot of people know it,' before moving along to speak moving with other guests.
